Brussel sprout and prosciutto skewers

When something takes very little time and effort to make, it's automatically one of my favorites. If the ingredient colors look cool together and I can present it on a toothpick to pretend I'm an artist, even better. I've had my failures with brussel about it here...but I can officially say I've figured out how to make them edible and dare I say yummy.


  • Brussel sprouts
  • Prosciutto
  • Sesame oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Chili flakes
  • Dried basil


Preheat oven to 350F. Cut the sprouts in half and toss with all the ingredients. Arrange on a foil-lined baking tray and pop in the oven for 35-40 minutes. Arrange the skewers with a piece of prosciutto in between 2 halves of a sprout. Serve warm. These would also be great with a drizzle of reduced balsamic or a garlic aioli.
